Appointments may be made by telephoning 0208 854 0157 Escreet Grove / 0208 854 0229 Plumstead Common Road, by signing up to on line services or by calling in at the surgery in person. You will always be able to see or speak to a Clinician on the day. However, if it is someone specific that you want to see there will be a wait. Our appointment line is open from 8.00am Monday to Friday and the receptionists will try and give you the appointment of your choice. However, due to high demand this may not always be possible and you may be offered an alternative choice.
Routine appointments may be made up to one month in advance, which will enable us to offer you an appointment at a time best suitable to your requirements.
We always try our best to accommodate everyone with an appointment of their choice, children under the age of 5 years old, the frail and elderly and patients on our at risk register will always be offered to be seen on the day, all other patients will be seen on the day or offered a telephone consultation on the day if they request it.
Emergencies - if you are confronted by a serious problem such as severe chest pain or severe bleeding then call an ambulance (tel: 999) before calling the surgery.
If you cannot keep an appointment please inform us as soon as possible as this will assist in over-subscribed situations.
Weekends - There is now a service where you can book an appointment (booking on Fridays only) to see a doctor at the weekend. These appointments are for acute items only e.g. ear infection, new cough/flu starting, rashes etc - the appointments at the weekend are not for your long term conditions which are already known to the GP. These clinics are held in Thamesmead and Eltham and they must be booked through the surgery on a Friday for the next weekend.
